Stop negative self-talk
I think all human have the habit of self-talk. From my experience, I can say self-talk has a direct reflection on the mindset. Negative self-talk and negative thoughts are my real problem.
When I self-talk “I can’t do this” that will create a fear in the mind and hold me back to move forward. Your thoughts will create your reality and your mindset will hold you back from having the life you want.
From reading and watching videos I found that to upgrade mindset, change your negative self-talk to an empowerment talk. Instead of telling yourself “I can’t do this”, tell “I can do this, I am strong enough to do this’.
In one video the speaker suggested to smile looking in the mirror and say positive words like ‘I am strong, I can do anything etc.’ First I laughed on this advice, but now I practise it daily in the morning. You can also try this simple trick.
Avoid negative phrases
Another mistake from many of us is we use negative phrases like “I am always like this” or “I am always doing this”. Do you often speak like this? If yes, you should avoid negative phrases for encouraging a growth mindset.
We all have problems in life. Most of us are famous for complaining and talking about problems but not interested to talk about the good things happened and the gifts from the Almighty.
If you are one of them, make it a habit to talk about the things that are going well in your life instead of complaining and talking about your problems.
Thinking about problems and complaining make the mind sad. Positive thinking about the gifts and good things happened will make the mind happy.
