Training the mind to live in the present is very important. Constant monitoring of the thoughts and allowing only the positive thoughts to enter our subconscious mind is the best way to gain peace of mind.
Forget the past
You can not change the past. So don’t remember about the mistakes done in the past which will hurt your mind and take away the peace of mind.
Take a walk
Go out and walk through nature which will help to calm down your mind. Walking, especially in the morning and evening, is very effective, but sadly most people do not know or just forgotten the benefits of a walk.
Avoid negative media
Avoid those media serials, movies etc which can heavily affect your mental state in a negative way. Especially try to avoid reading or watching such items just before the bedtime.
Avoid fear of judgment
Don’t worry about what others are thinking or talking about you. Many people have mental restlessness because they have fear of other people’s judgment. If you have this kind of fear just forget about others thinking and talk about you. Keep distance yourself from negative self-talk and beliefs.
Avoid unnecessary tensions
Don’t waste your time on things which are not related to you or not required your attention. Just avoid thinking about such matters.
