Quote From The Indian Express

“My father used to teach music at home, and I think I got interested in it from my early days. It was all very organic. I performed on the stage of Shri Krishna Temple when I was two and a half years. Music has always been my life,” concluded Aryananda, who looks up to Lata Mangeshkar as her idol.

“When I came for the final auditions, honestly, I couldn’t even speak a word of Hindi. I couldn’t believe my luck when they still chose me for the show. I worked hard and tried to learn as much as I could. Even if I could understand the language a bit, I really can’t speak it. Our mentors and gurus really helped me, and it was only because of their guidance that I could ace my performance. However, it was very tough learning the lyrics and adding emotions and expressions to the song in the short period that we got.” Source: The Indian Express

Interview in Malayalam

At home, we are 3 members, myself, and my parents. My father Rajesh Babu and my mother Indu. Both are music teachers. They are my Music Gurus. From childhood, I used to listen to music taught by my father to his students and most lessons were by heart to me. I started learning music from 1st std.

My first stage performance was at the age of 2.5 years in Chembai Sangeetholsavam at Guruvayoor temple. That is an interesting story. My father used to go there with his students every year to participate in the festival. As mentioned earlier I was a small child of 2.5 years and I started crying for singing on the stage. As per the rules, a small child of 2.5 years is not allowed to participate in the function. But seeing a crying child the authorities allowed me to sing on the stage. So, that was just a coincidence happened.

I have participated in competitions and functions in the school. At the age of 7, in a live program called ‘Snehapoorvam Aryananda‘ conducted in the town hall, she made a record of ‘non-stop live singing for 3 hours in 25 songs in 4 different languages.

Winner of the national competition of Sangam Kala Group. 1st in the All India Malayali Association competition. In 2018 1st runner-up Zee Tamil Saregamapa got 1 Kg Gold.

When I participated in Zee Tamil Saregamapa, I had to stay there for 6 months and hence missed the classes. The school management, teachers and friends supported me.

In ZeeTv Saregmapa, I had a language problem. But I could meet many legends and singers there. All the judges were very motivating and guided through their valuable comments. Mr Himesh Reshammiya, an Indian playback singer, music director, producer, and actor who predominantly works in Bollywood have offered me a chance in film.
